Are you interested in being part of the Barley Mow Wine Club?

The Barley Mow Wine Club is a group of wine enthusiasts/wine lovers/wine would be lovers, which meet on the 2nd Thursday of each month at the Barley Mow Pub in Tilford, Farnham, Surrey.

The Barley Mow is one of Surreys most famous pubs.

The wine club is led on the behalf of the pub by qualified and certified wine educator and member of the Association of Wine Educators, Nina Cerullo.

Nina is the usual speaker, however if she is unable to speak, a guest speaker from the wine trade will be invited to speak on a specialist subject.

The aim of the society is to have fun while learning about wine. Each month we taste 8 new wines, explore different regions and countries, and have a jolly good time accompanied by a platter of cheese supplied by the Barley Mow.

Every few months the tasting becomes a food and wine matching session when the chef at the pub supplies samples of foods from a specific region which are matched by wines from the same region.

All age groups are welcome, our ages range from 18 to ……?  one never likes to ask!  The emphasis is on fun while tasting and learning. No stuffy wine snobs please! (the only wine snobs allowed are the teachers!!)

The wine club meets at The Barley Mow Pub, Tilford Green, Tilford, Surrey, GU10 2BU at 7.30pm.

You may come along as a guest or join as a member. A small joining fee of £25.00 will apply for membership to the society which covers a set of tasting glasses and a tasting book, followed by a monthly fee, should you attend of £25.00 to cover wine/cheese/room  costs (Guest fee £30.00).

Every 2-4 months the tasting becomes a food and wine matching session.  These sessions are priced at £35.00 per session (£40.00 for guests).
